Do Chinese/Japanese/ and other Asians despise Indians?

I know in the UK, Indians are considered Asians, but in America Indians are looked down upon by other Asians. I have heard some derogatory comments about Indians from other groups, but to hear it from other Asians is shocking. We know India is a poor country compared to Japan or China, but is that the reason why Indians are despised? And I have heard Filipino gangsters terrorize the Indian community here in Los Angeles, since Filipinos outnumber Indians 10 to 1.
