Cats are pretty easy to take care of. You need to make sure they have food and water and a cat box. They are pretty flexible, if you get your cat a cat bed it may or may not decide to use it, it might prefer to snuggle up with you. They like to be petted, they like their chins scratched, they like to play especially as kittens, a simple string to chase is often enough to entertain them for hours. They are affectionate on their own terms. When you get the cat box use good cat litter, somehow the cat knows what it is and what its for, and clean the cat box every few days or so. Take kitty to the vet for vaccinations. I always have fed our cats dry food, I was told canned food has something in it that harms cat kidneys or urinary systems. I have had a couple of cats who lived to be 21, they never stopped being sweet loving little friends, they were wonderful. Enjoy!

last year I was in student accommodation for my first year at uni. this was not the universitys accom. it was a general student accommodation for many unis. since the start i had problems with heating and they kept saying they would fix it but nothing for about a month. as it was winter it had an awful effect on my health and the line was crossed when I stopped getting warm water!! no matter how much they said they were trying to fix it i iknow they werent and i had no heating and hot water whatsoever!! as a result of this I missed a lot of uni because I was so ill and going out on the tube every morning in the freezing cold and wet only to come back to a freezing cold room unable to even have a warm shower was unbearable. I became so ill that I had to go back to my Mothers 60 miles away - this was fine, but i was missing uni! the only reason i couldnt move to other accommodations was because i had a contract with them and they would NOT release me! long story short (ish) I was finally released from my contract in January (i had to get my dad to make them!!) and i moved out - however this was 5 months into my first year - i have just received my results and i have failed 2 out of 4 modules because of the time i missed even though i tried so hard to catch up it was impossible, as this is their fault should i sue them for all the money i paid in rent (�800 per month for a tiny damp room and bathroom) and also for the money i had to pay to go to uni when i didnt even go!! i feel i deserve some compensation for this, it ruined my life as i now have to leave uni!! :(

I'm getting a cinnamon pied cockatiel from a breeder next week. He's been hand fed and has a great personality. I have a nice big cage ready for him and I can't wait to bring him home. A couple of months ago I was watched a programme but now I cant remember what its called! I feel disllusioned and depressed?

Last term I went walking with my friend at around 11:00 or 12:00 at night we went to buy sodas at home and then were cming back home as we walked past my school. As we passed it there were teenagers trespassing on it and were at the sports hall hving drinkups and blasting music from its speakers. We decided to check it out and while in there, my friend asked 2 guys for weed. they either said they didnt have any or didnt reply. we left the rec hall wandered up to our classrooms and then went back down to the rec hall which was near the field. as we were leaving the hall and getting onto the field, a tall, plump guy 18yold walked up to us with a group of party goers and angry looking teen boys he asked us wethere we knew kristy or something? confused my friend said he didnt knw and the guy punched him in the face. after that my friend shat his pants lterally and i tried to get in front to stop the guy from continuing to punch him, as I did someone punched me in the back. I ignored cos i didnt one to start a fight as I was outnumbered so then when tried to stop, the big guy he punched me in the face. thats when me and my crap dripping friend tried running away. the teens and big guy ripped our valuables off us as we tried to get away and then tackled my mate to the ground, i tripped and fell grazing myself very badly. the big guy and his gang procedded to kick the living daylights out of my friend on the ground while I could do nothing but watch as the guys did not touch me. I moved closer trying to tell them to stop while my mate kept cringing on the ground as they put fists and legs into him. One of them punched me in the head again. I realised i could do nothing so I ran off to the police beat which was only a block away. I didnt knw how to contact the cops however as u had to pick up a payphone or something. I then went to a nearby house and told them to call the police. they promised they would and i was left standing outside their door alone. I did not want to run back up there to my friend as I knew they would be bashing the daylights out of him and I was scared, ok. Then a bystander who was at the illegal party called out from the street and said he had my mates phone and that my mate ran off. I walked with him back up there, he gave me the phone and I saw my mate bleeding and walking up a different way. I went to him and saw he had lost his bag and hes face was worse then mine. he had a bleeding nose, badly grazed and bleeding arms from when they dragged him and a cut eye. We had to get away before those people saw us together so thanking the bystander we ran away from that area and hid at a randoms house until the ambs and police came to get us. as we drove off in the ambs i could here them laughing and talking to themselves. those bastards. My question is this,,, I know I shouldnt have been walking at night there but if I had, what could I have done to prevent them stealing from us and bashing us up? I feel depressed because I was so vulnerable and I feel guilty that I ran away and my mate got bashed more while I only had knee grazes and a bloody nose. I feel guilty and I have lost my pride in the fact that I can protect the ones I love? by the way me and my buddy are 16 yold boys who got bashed in their own school. Please clarify what i could have done to diffuse the situation or if not fight back without fear?? I am using Dell Inspiron with win7 proffesional 64-bit (64bit ultimate earlier), recently i have just suffered a blue screen of death, i had no idea what to do about it so i just send it to manufacturers for replacement. All i want to know, if i re-install windows while i suffer from this problem due to which i am unable to operate windows, would this help me out without preparing for any hardware stuff. In your opinion do you think a lawyer is an ideal career for me?

My parents are very strict and I rebel a lot. But i have noticed i may be able to make a good lawyer of something because of all the practice i've had. I am able to catch little glitches of their questioning that most people wouldn't get and then use that against them. And I can think on my feet fairly well but it's not as good as if i was prepared. I am kind of smart i guess (bookwise). I don't get good grades except when this kid condescended me for sleeping and not paying attention and implied i was dumb. so i didn't take any homework home or study except in the 15 min homeroom and got high honor roll (94% gpa) I need to decide a career soon. When I got married we had to have a lease. You can make up a lease agreement between yourself and your parents. I had a friend that stayed with me, since I owned my house I went to JAG and they gave me a standard lease that we had them notarize. This helped my friend start her BAH, since she was staying with me it was totally legal and legit. Use JAG its free. Even if its temporary. Then when you start collecting BAH you can go out and get an apartment and enter into a new lease that is more permanent. Its a catch 22 you need BAH to get an apartment but you cant get an apartment without BAH.

Can breaks be compensated?

I work at a restaurant and during my once a week 6 hour shift, we are allowed a 15 minute break. Then I notice that they deduct this out of our paycheck. I've been reading labor laws and it seems to say that for shifts of 5 or more hours, a 30 minute meal period is required unless waived by both employer and employee. However this restaurant allows us a certain amount of food free, (enough for lunch) and a drink. My question is, am I entitled to compensation for these 15 minute breaks where I'm relieved of all duty and can leave the premises?

Is this a good way to prepare for the weekend?

I wake up every Friday morning at 7 am, then I go downstairs and gotta get my bowl, gotta get my cereal. I then walk to the bus stop where I see my friends, spend 45 minutes with "front seat back seat dilemma" and finally decide on the only seat that was available the whole time. While in the car driving to school, me and my friends start casually singing and it suddenly turns into night time where we start partying on top of the car. While doing this, I make sure to tell my so called friends all the days of the week in order like we are a disney chanel cartoon. Then we resume partying, constantly switching lanes on the highway, and drinking. When it gets close to midnight, a random pedophile starts singing about me in his car, and that is how I get pumped for the weekend. What do you think of the ending of Stephenie Meyer's book Breaking Dawn?

The last book was sooo disappointing. The whole book wasn't that good and on some parts just didn't make sense. The book just didn't have a good story line and felt like some scenes Stephenie just threw in for fans. What i am talking about is the ending, i feel like after she had her baby they were building up suspense for this big fight scene with the volturi. We have to listen to Bella talk on and on how terrified she was, and they have half of the book to preparing for a fight scene. All of the other vampires come to back them up, Bella has a back up plan for Renesmee just in case they are killed, and i was expecting some excitement. Then they talk a little... decide not to fight.. the volturi go home... bella and edward have sex.. happily ever after, yea, done, the end!!? I get that its a Romance but that left me with my mouth open thinking wtf!!! I feel like this book went on and on with pointless chapters. Don't even get me started with the whole Jacob ending up with bella's baby, I think he should have been with Leah plus that was just weird and ewww. And Charlie would have freaked out about Jacob being a werewolf and Bella being a vampire but nooo he's all thats fine when can we have lunch!!!?
