Why do black men have a better rep than black women when...?

White media. It's true that black women in the real world tend to be more socially mobile and successful than black men. But black men have more social mobility. You have NBA players, rappers, other athletes, a lot of black figures in the last couple of years have been men, black male president when the media want the opinion of black America they tend to ask men, think about pundits on different news networks. So it's not that black women aren't doing what it takes, It's just that the media tends to only focus on black men. Black women tend to fall into the background.
