Check with the VA. You are not disabled so SS disability is not applicable here. You also resigned so you are not eligible for unemployment - although your boss could have terminated you for excessive absenteeism and still not have to pay unemployment. You might look for organization that help veterans and their families - look on line by typing "help for veterans" in the search line.
