Why do people feel the need to blame the jews for everything?

Its becoming quite common, whether its USA, Israel or a natural disaster someone always says the jews are behind it and the jews did it....I gotta say guys its quite saddening, Ive got quite a few jewish friends and to be honest theyre as normal as you or I, If you look at the names in the US govt whether its Political, Financial or Media, yea got some jewish names however theyre vastly outnumbered by christians like it or not. Its even come to some of the people I know saying dude have you read the protocols of zion? **** the jews....guys I have and to be brutally frank and honest yes I have I also know that its one of the longest running pieces of anti-jew propoganda, distributed by white supremists and used for education purposes and as tv series in the arab world....Its for from true or realistic, Its been debunked about 7 times and It was written by Russians. My questions to all of you are, Why blame the jews? why buy into propoganda that if you do your research youd know isnt true 99% of the time? and say all the jews magically disapear from the world and the same problems still emerge who will you blame then? blacks? muslims? a christian sect? Jews are normal guys just like you and me, 99% of jewish families are normal, live like you and I, Go to work and school everyday, pay the bills, work normal jobs and lead normal lives. Its discouraging to see all this hate, Jews arent bad, we should stop using them as scapegoats and trying to make them the source of all our problems.
